What was the weather in minneapolis yesterday

That will keep the wind chills in the degree range. Quieter Tonight and First Half of Tomorrow. The flurries will eventually taper off by late today or early this evening. Low temperatures will fall back into the upper 20's, so any wet spots will freeze overnight. Winds will slowly ease up, but wind chills will be in the teens. Tomorrow will be a quieter day with light winds and perhaps some sun through a lot of middle and high clouds.

Temperatures will again top out in the middle 30's at best. The next storm system off the Pacific Northwest coast see Pacific Mid-tropospheric water vapor loop from Colorado State satellite slider will race into the Dakotas by tomorrow, traveling across central or southern Minnesota Saturday night. This next storm will have much less moisture available than the current system, but will have the potential to produce a narrow band of between 1 and 3 inches of snow along the path and just to the north.

The problem is that it will be a narrow path, so a mile shift in track between the computer forecasts makes all the difference between some snow and likely little or no snow. I have a shot for between a dusting and 2 inches of new snow in central Minnesota. The timing is also off with some computer forecasts starting the snow Saturday afternoon and others holding off until Saturday evening.

So, there may be some slippery spots in central Minnesota during this time. Another shot of unseasonably cool air will come in behind the Saturday night storm.

Highs will continue to be in the 30's on Sunday and Monday. Sunday will again be on the breezy side, so wind chills will be in the 15 to 25 range. If we clear out on Sunday night, we could see lows in the teens. After the Saturday night system, it appears that the storm track will move to the Canadian side of the international border, so most storms would track to our north. Without a lot of moisture, that would tend to keep most of the precipitation off to our north.

We will have any snow melting during the day from today on, since highs should poke above freezing. But, substantial melting will happen on Tuesday with highs expected to be in the 40's. As usual, an early November snowfall won't last that long. Detailed St.
