There is also a Novotel and an Ibis directly opposite gate 10 to the cruise port -so this would be an easy walk too. The City Terminal is nearest to Dock gate 8 and the nearest hotel is the Holiday Inn which would be walking distance away The Novotel and Ibis are about yds from the terminal via Dock Gate 10 , so a taxi is up to you. I think Celebrity are unlikely to be using the new terminal the new Ocean terminal. My understanding is that ABP owners of the Port of Southampton, and developers of the new terminal have contracted with Carnival with regard to the new terminal for a number of years, so it's very likely to be reserved for Carnival brands operating out of Southampton.
